My Favorite Fashion Fun Day of 2013!

This day was probably my most favorite fun fashion day in 2013!

From the Ballet to see my boo Aubree dance her a** off with the Alvin Ailey 2 dance company...  to my BFF Brandon Descai Love Bloom Show!!!

Both of these outfits were spare of the moment... I mean literally running out the out with mix match shoes on because I was so unsure! But I must say I pulled it off! Shout Out to Asos for supplying me with both of these skirts!

Oh... Hey 2014!



So this year I'm trying something new...

I'm actually going to set a blogging schedule. I miss you guys.. and from all the emails, text, and IG complaints I know you guys miss me too. Sorry for not being here more, I just didn't feel I had anything to offer you. I haven't been in the best space and it has been reflecting in my style. I didn't feel my style as of late has been anything to write about. I lost focus. Having access to the World Wide Web, especially Instagram, I felt a little defeated. I felt like everyone else was doing it, so there was no need for me to do it. You guys can get inspiration from anywhere, and from some sources much more put together than me. I found myself trying to be like them, mimicking styles, formats, pictures, stores, etc. and none of that was working for me. It didn't feel genuine. 

My blog name is iSTYLELIKEME for crying out loud!!! Why would I ever try to style like someone else? So here I am in this New Year trying to focus on a better me. Not a new me, just a better me. I doubt my talents, I am so hard on myself and this year I am going to be a bit freer. Getting back to me, back to living, back to friends, back to supporting and back to doing all the things that made you guys tune in before. 

I have so many great ideas, that I never put into action. It's about time I start putting action behind my words. 

I lost sight of the fact that I am different... no one is built like me, I designed myself! (Well with the help of my mother, of course!) But I have something to offer the world. There is room out here for everyone... I just have to be consistent, confident and creative. 

This year is the Chinese Year of the Horse… meaning strength and fire! Ha!  And I wore red on New Year’s Eve! I am the girl on fire! LOL!
