I was over on GorgeousInGrey.com and my friend Ty created a Bucket List. Reading her list I thought (to myself ) this would be a good way to jot down fun things I always say I want to experience but never get around to doing them, and attempting to take part in them this Summer. I'm not a big fan of Summer, I can do without extreme heat, I don't have to put any effort into what I wear and sweating is NOT sexy.
But I am a fan of longer days, swimsuits, and fun outdoor activities!
So here's my list of things I want to accomplish this Summer... and Hopefully I can tag along on some of Ty's! Here's to an adventures iStyle Summer!
1. Swim
Like the real kind of swimming. Putting my whole head underwater and resurfacing swinging my hair, looking like a Baywatch babe! I'm a black girl in all it's natural/unnatural hair gloom. I don't want to be the one sitting on the side of the pool looking all fab in my swimsuit and not really enjoying the water. This Summer I plan to enjoy the water!
2. Hiking
I like to think I'm an outdoorsie kinda girl. I hate bugs but I love being outside!(I say that now but when the heat and bugs come, I'm going to be running inside.) This Summer I would like to find some good trails in MD or where ever I'm visiting and EXPLORE! Hopefully my girlies will join me!
3. Sewing
I will dust off my sewing skills (or lack there of) and begin sewing some garments. I have so many ideas and need to start executing them before I spend too much money buying these things I could easily make! Ha! First things first I have to buy a sewing machine, and take a class to brush up on the basics.
4. Sky Diving
Needs no explanations. Yes, I want to get in a plane and jump out!
5. I'm sure there's more I would like to accomplish this Summer, I'll update as things come to mind!
